HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Hi, I’m Cheryl – owner of Rubys Adorables. After having my daughter Ruby in 2007 I decided that I no longer wanted to work the long hours I’d become accustomed to, travelling the country and staying away overnight.
It was then that I started delivering ladies handbag and jewellery parties for a local company. I fell in love with the products and started to make contacts of my own. This coupled with over 20 years sales experience gave me the push to start up a business of my own. I wanted to do exactly what I had been doing but with my own special touches and with the emphasis on fantastic customer service.
The business name came to me straight away!! My daughter is called Ruby and when she was born we (if every so slightly biased) thought she was ‘Adorable’, hence ‘Rubys Adorables’ was born.

The wedding industry has always been a love of mine and whilst planning my own wedding (which was around the time my daughter was born), I instinctively knew that I wanted to work within this industry too.
There’s nothing nicer than seeing the excitement and anticipation in a brides face when they are planning their special day. My love of all things sparkly and pretty, and my personal experience of hunting around for a particular style of tiara that I struggled to find, gave me the push to introduce a new range of wedding accessories into our mix, adding bridal jewellery and headpieces to our range.
With our new branch, named ‘Rubys Adorables Bridal Accessories’ we expanded our range to offer crystal and pearl tiaras, headbands, hair vines, combs and exquisite range of bridal jewellery for brides to wear on their special day.
We have ranges to suit all budgets and firmly believe that every bride should be able to look beautiful on their wedding day regardless of cost.
Being able to assist brides in this area gives me an enormous amount of pleasure and I am always on hand with a box of tissues for mum for when we have achieved your dream look!
We visit Wedding Trade Fayres across the country to source the right products for our brides and exhibit at some of the largest Wedding Fayres in Yorkshire.
